Foundation chooses Pena as a 2014 World Statesman

The Appeal of Conscience Foundation (Foundation for Call to Consciousness) decided to grant President Enrique Peņa Nieto her award as a statesman in 2014 in a ceremony to be held in New York in September.
The Foundation, an interfaith organization founded by Rabbi Arthur Schneier, indicated that deliver the "World Statesman Award 2014" for his leadership Peņa Nieto has shown to take "tough decisions seeking to boost his nation and his people."
Schneier said, as president of the Appeal of Conscience Foundation (ACF), "President Peņa Nieto will be recognized for his strong leadership, new vision and for being a player in the global responsibility committed to economic and social development."
The religious leader also stressed the contributions of Mexican president to "peace and based on international and intercultural cooperation for human rights, freedom and tolerance."
The agency said that the award statesmen who support peace, prosperity and freedom to promote tolerance, human dignity and human rights is delivered and to lead these causes in their countries and cooperate on these issues with other leaders.
The statement also quoted the words of President Peņa Nieto to thank the designation. "I am honored by this important recognition of the Appeal of Conscience Foundation and Rabbi Schneier," Bush said, according to the information provided.
"Freedom, peace, prosperity, tolerance and human dignity are values that I share personally and my government supports and encourages full way," said the president.

Created in 1965, the ACF tries to build bridges between cultures in order to promote religious freedom, human rights and tolerance in the world, and promote democracy as the basis of security and prosperity.
The gala dinner that President Peņa Nieto will be honored will be held in New York in September 2014 to coincide with the UN General Assembly, which is organized every year during the same dates.
