Feb 17, 2011 -- Arlington, VA - Appeal of Conscience Foundation with the Foreign Service Institute present the 30th Annual Seminar titled, "Diplomacy, Religious Freedom and the Real World” at the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Institute. The seminar offers Foreign Service Officers valuable insight on issues of international religious freedom prior to their overseas assignments. More than 850 students and faculty participated in the day-long event, highlighted by keynote speaker Deputy Secretary of State, The Honorable William Burns.

Diplomatic panelists included Hon. Kurt Campbell, Ambassador Anne Patterson, and Ambassador Kurt Volker. Religious panelists included Reverend Dr. Fred R. Anderson, Reverend Father Mark Arey, Dr. Stephen M. Colecchi, Imam Yahya M. Hendi, and Rabbi Eliyahu Stern.
